SEED and SONDER
SEED and SONDER

Welcome to Seed and Sonder - a place for a new beginning with clean, healthy food and a new way of living.

We are Tami and Amanda, a mom and daughter looking to change our world, and maybe yours, one meal at a time. Over the past two years, starting with a chance encounter with Whole30, we began exploring food in a new way. Our excitement grew as our bodies and minds changed for the better. Our families have joined the cause (mostly…) and we invite you to join us too.

We will be sharing new recipes as we explore clean, responsibly-sourced foods. We are excited to bring this way of living to the everyday family. Families like ours and yours.

We also invite you to our family travels and celebrations as we incorporate this new way of living across all aspects of our lives.

Together we can make a difference for today and tomorrow.

seed |ˈsēd |

n. a seed represents the start of fresh growth, untainted and clean

sonder |ˈsän-dər|

n. the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own—populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness—an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you’ll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk.

ORIGIN: Coined in 2012 by John Koenig, whose project, The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, aims to come up with new words for emotions that currently lack words.
